Some websites can be up on the Internet within a few days, instead of months. Obviously the complexity and functions will influence the final time table.

If you need a quick Internet presence, we can scale your website production for a faster launch, and then ramp up future expansions so that your initial website can be up and running as fast as possible.

We have worked with Clients in this fashion so that their new website was available and working while we worked on the expansions or refinements.

Who builds my website ?

Bob Milburn is the Webmaster at Milburn Web Designs. He does the work.

Bob has been building websites and consulting with Clients about their websites since 1999.

We never subcontract your work to a third party, and then claim that we did the work. We never send work oversees to some entity whom you could never hold accountable for their work.

We do all the work at our place of business, right here in the USA.

We do the web page layouts, graphics, themes and Database work for all our website projects.

Rarely, a unique requirement requires us to consult with a third party.

What's the cost ?

How we charge for our work

We understand that price is always important.  We can work with you to accommodate most any budget.

Of course, final cost depends upon complexity and functionality.

We often produce great results with smaller budgets than Clients expect.

Whatever your budget situation, we will work with you to accomplish your objectives for your website.

Some Clients prefer to work with us on an hourly rate, without a contract. Others are uncomfortable with an hourly rate and require a fixed price. Some Clients have worked with us an hourly rate with a "not to exceed" maximum price.

We require an initial deposit to commence work on a project. Depending upon the size and duration of the project, we typically require an initial deposit of 33%.  For larger projects we would require a smaller %. Progress payments during the project development are required. Final balance is due after completion.

No contract required !

We have worked with most of our Clients without the formality of a contract.

Some Clients are uncomfortable with a contract for a website development project because it is not a familiar area where they have had experience with what needs to be part of a contract.

Clients who have worked with us without a contract have been very satisfied.

We receive excellent references from Clients who worked with us in this fashion.

You don't need a Lawyer and legal fees to do business with us. However, if your organization requires a contract, we can usually make that work.

No technical staff required !

Prospective new Clients are often concerned that keeping their website running and up to date will require "Computer Geek's".

We often hear concerns that a lot of extra time will be required from an already busy staff.

You do not need specially trained people or unique resources to have a well designed professional looking website.

We can provide everything needed to ensure that your website is always working effectively.

We can function as your continuing Webmaster resource.

However, if you have staff that you want to do your continuing website maintenance, we can work with them to provide for a smooth transition.

To be found by searching the Internet, we must do well with Google.

Google represents about 3/4 of the major search engine activity. Additionally, if we do well with Google, then we do well with Yahoo and others.

Website visitor Statistics

Learn about how visitors use your website

Some Clients want to be able to keep in touch with their regular website visitors. Others want to know where visitors are located in the world.

Some Clients are interested in visitors only from certain parts of the world. Others are interested only in domestic USA visitors.

This information, and more, can be available via a website statistics package.

We can implement a statistics package that will provide automatic periodic reports of visitor activity on your website.

Can I have Email marketing for my website ?

Several different methods for Email marketing are available.

Some methods are as simple as adding a viewer sign -up link for Email marketing.

Other methods are more flexible and allow for Email campaigns based upon customer interests.

Email campaigns can be developed for your existing customer list -or- for prospective customer lists.

Can I choose the site graphics and color scheme ?

YES !

Typically we will show you a choice of graphical themes and color sets.

We can work with company Logo color theme.

Or, we can just work with your color preferences.

We will provide our best guidance for your website graphic and color scheme.

Website Databases

Database uses on a website can range from very simple to very advanced.

Often we will simply want to provide "catalog style" information such as product descriptions and pictures. A simple Database will meet those requirements.

Alternatively we may want to provide product pricing and other details that change frequently. Then we will provide a more sophisticated "back end administrative area" where you can mange the data in the Database.

This "back end administrative area" can be used SECURELY from any web browser by any authorized member of your staff. No technical knowledge required.

No need for a technical staff or software installations on your local computer. We do all the technical stuff to make your Database run SECURELY in your web browser, from any location with Internet connection.
